The Return of the electric car
Things are changing.
Gas prices are getting high and high to no end.
Pollution needs to stop.
Next is a video from www.peakmoment.tv a network dedicated to create conscious about environment and work for the change.
Otmar Ebenhoech has worked with electric vehicles for decades, watching as popular commercial EVs were developed, then recalled when their legal mandate was overturned. He sees improved battery technologies as the catalyst to enable widespread acceptance of EV's. Peek under the hood and watch a test drive of his hot electric Porsche race car conversion (0-60 in less than 5 seconds!). www.cafeelectric.com

Low season at Banderas Bay & Puerto Vallarta
We are coming to the middle of low season and in less than 30 days we will get into September, what Mexicans often likes to call Septi-hambre which is a saying mixing the word septiembre(the Spanish way) and hambre (hunger) and widely describes what is the worst month for sales and business at Mexico and comes together with a lot of rain in all the vast Mexican territory. Not to mention hurricanes, floods and a variety of disaster happening on this month as well as in October just to crown the end of the low rainy-season.
Get set your golf cart to avoid excessive water and damage of any of the components.
Recommended is the use of a cover if the vehicle is parked in a wide open environment, and do it every night if it rains at night.
If you have it parked for a long period, avoid to leave the cart parked in the direct ray of sun to prevent extreme temperatures which could accelerate the discharge of the battery pack.
As well avoid to leave the parking brake engaged to prevent the pads get sticked to drum brakes. If the place is a little inclined, just use something to lock the vehicle.
If a disaster like a hurricane or flood puts your vehicle under water, it is better to leave the electronics completely disconnected from battery pack. With some luck, if everything is well dried you can save lots of money instead of renewing speed controller, motor, batteries, etc.
Please visit our Forum if you have any question about this an other related issues.

Adding extra seats to a golf cart
One of the most nicer modifications to do is to add an extra rear seat to carry more people with your golf cart.
It adds looking and style even if you don't use much the rear seat.
The flip-flop seats are the most wanted ones because of their ability to convert from rear seat to rear cargo plataform, all in one!
Feel confident to contact us about rear seat installation or to buy a kit for your golf cart. We have rear seats for Ezgo, Club Car, Yamaha, Columbia, Melex, etc.

Flip-Flop rear seats vs. Standard rear seats
The difference between these two is substantially remarkable.
The Standard rear seat it is just that: a rear seat. Comfortable to seat and ride.
The Flip-Flop seat is all of the above plus a rear cargo platform, conveniently folds to access the bag well and convert into seat or platform in about seconds.

Amazing juggling with golf carts, but, be careful!
This is one of the things among fellow carters that we always say "Don't do it at home":(the action begins at second 28 so be patient)

Getting into the electric vehicles deal?
Did you know that Say Golf Car is still on the path to help people discover the electric vehicles as viable option for mobility?
In today's world, we are still struggling about gas prices and pollution generated, and electric mobility is today's best option to start to do something than just watch the things happening.
Been thinking in an ATV for neighborhood mobility? Why not an electric modified golf car?
We have good news for you!

Tires differences
One of our first vehicles we had.
Notice the knobby tires which gives the vehicle a smooth riding and less rolling resistance which is translated to a fuel (well electricity in this case!) economy.
However those facts, most of people likes their vehicles with wider tires!
The knobby tires are a nice looking ones but a wider tire gives a better "tougher" look among with more surface contact.
Check the visual difference:

How everything started...
This vehicle is the declared guilty of starting SayGolfCar.
Check a few pictures and a video.
Later we changed the shoes, added a rear seat, a siren at the top, some rear red top lights, heavy duty shocks, some extra body touchs, and was sold for use at the Puerto Vallarta airport. Check it here:
